READ-A-THON Summer Reading Launch
Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating reading, learning, and family engagement at our READ-A-THON Summer Reading Launch – Literacy in Motion! The AACA, in partnership with the MLK Diversity-Engagement Foundation (MLK-DEF), PRCS Advisory Board, Bevy & Dave LLC, and Gamma Sigma, invites children, parents, caregivers, educators, and community members to attend this FREE literacy event designed to inspire a love of reading and support summer learning success.

Participants will enjoy:
• Free books for children (while supplies last)
• Interactive literacy and phonics lesson for children and parents
• Summer reading resources and activities
• Coloring and crafts
• Light refreshments
• Family-friendly educational fun and community engagement
This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to kick off the summer reading season, strengthen literacy skills, and connect with community resources that support educational success. Attendance is FREE, and all are welcome. Please share this invitation with families, youth-serving organizations, schools, faith communities, and community partners who may benefit from this opportunity. Volunteers are welcome and limited tables to share your educational literacy upcoming programs. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the power of literacy together.
